The patient chose to pursue breast implant removal in Vancouver due to concerns about the size and weight of her existing implants. She had 332cc textured silicone breast implants placed in a submuscular position in 2008. In her revisional surgery, bilateral breast implant removal was performed alongside a mastopexy, also known as a breast lift. This allowed for the reshaping and lifting of the natural breast tissue after the removal of the cohesive silicone gel implants. The before-and-after photos, taken 4 months post-surgery, show a noticeable reduction in breast volume and a more lifted position. The breast lift scar is healing as expected, with redness continuing to fade over time.
