Revision Breast Surgery Before & After Case 441

This 71-year-old patient from the Tri-city area came to our office for a consultation with Dr. Mosher to discuss implant removal surgery. She had been happy with her breast augmentation performed by him almost 10 years prior but felt it was time to have them removed. Her goal was to have a lift during the procedure and to minimize the volume of her lateral breasts.

They discussed permanent implant removal and the acceptable but deflated shape of her breasts that would result. Mastopexy with liposuction of the lateral chest would refine the shape of her breasts. The risks of the surgery and the expected outcome and recovery were discussed in detail with the patient, and the proposed procedure was agreed upon and carried out.
