Laser Non-Ablative Fractional Resurfacing Before & After Case 329

After a traumatic burn as a child, this client from Surrey was left with a dark, hyper-pigmented scar to his cheek.  He wanted to improve the colour of the scar and smooth the texture to make it less noticeable. 

A series of 5 Non-Ablative Resurfacing Laser treatments were completed. This client spends a lot of time outdoors, so high potency retinols were not the best option. Instead, these laser treatments were completed in combination with ZO Brightalive - Non-retinol Skin Brightener and ZO Daily Sheer SPF 50. 

The pigment has lifted from his scar. We are now able to focus on further improving the texture. Due to his skin tone and therefore higher risk to develop hyperpigmentation, small incremental improvements achieved over a longer time period are safer than attempting to correct quickly and with more aggressive or ablative treatments. 

Treatments just as Morpheus 8 can be used to further improve the texture of his skin.
